I agree, time for a new Dr. Im just sorry it has to happen now, when you have so many other things that needs your attention. UGH.

I switched doctors when the one I was using insisted he had given me sulfa drugs B4 and that I had never had a problem w/them since he couldn't give me penicillin since I was allergic to it. I'm NOT allergic to penicillin, hubby is. But, I found out I AM allergic to sulfa drugs. Then, I switched doctors when my new one told me that it probably wasn't worthwhile for me to go to a specialist for the vertigo attacks I was having since they probably wouldn't be able to figure out what was wrong. So yeah, switch doctors.

For people that make SO much money, Doctors can be pretty dumb sometimes. I switched when mine wanted to put me on antidepressants, blood pressure meds, and nerve pills...because of my panic attacks and anxiety triggered by my soy allergy. I lost faith in doctors though when they couldn't figure out what was wrong with DD14 when she was little. Six years, and they were just keeping giving her meds. They again, just wanted to take the easy way out and treat the symptoms. I figured out she was reacting to MSG. Sometimes I dunno why we even have doctors anymore. They never seem to do much good, rather they complicate things with their unwillingness to listen to their patients because we're just dumb animals and they're SO UBER SMART :smack

Anyway, I have too much to do to be ranting much today. The blood test results should be back tomorrow and hopeful the arrogant turd will give DH his meds like he should and we can move on with life. I have MUCH stuffs to do today, and I have to get out of this funky mood!! I will be SO GLAD when I can have another sabbath  I love sabbath! A day of rest after this will be soooo appreciated!

First order of business is Doctor shopping though :sick I hate Dr. shopping. This time I'm asking for personal referrences and credentials up front  They'll be lucky if I don't ask for a copy of their credit report :p And they HAVE to know what I'm talking about when I mention DH's narcolepsy. Some don't even have a clue what it is, have never heard of it, and don't really seem willing to find out. So, it may take half the day to find someone with something upstairs

I hope everyone else has a lovely day! :)

good luck with the doctor search.

I'm dealing with a very gassy baby today  and when I say very gassy, I mean I burp her and her whole body vibrates with the burp, and half her dinner comes up with it lol

I also got to start working out today whoohoo. Saw MY dr. who is wonderful yesterday and I'm totally released to return to normal routines and exercising and do not have to go back for a whole year! yay me!

So, that's how my week is going. Planning some crafts for my kids for the upcoming holidays and hoping to be down a pants size (or two) by the end of this month!

After six kids, time to reclaim my body!

I actually had DD's origional doc tell my daughter that she didnt have tourettes because she didnt blurt out cuss words. So IIIIIII brought the JAMA regarding the varied symptoms of tourretes and he told me "little lady, I am the doctor." I could of made him a female doctor right then and there. Ohh I was so mad.
Went to another doc who sent her to neuro and had her assesed and diagnosed.
The first doc also tried to push meds for her OCDs and anxiety. He was a turd. But the new doc is working hard to try and help her by finding the problem NOT just treating the symptoms. And yes I feel your pain, doc shopping is a stab in the dark. Such a pain.

Have I told you all how much I LOVE MY nurse practitioner!? SHE took care of EVERYTHING for me today :love She got DH a weeks worth of his meds so that he can go to his church mens retreat this weekend AND she got him an appointment with a specialist who knows exactly what his condition is, and she got it NEXT WEEK :th How is that even possible?!?! And it is closer than his other stupid doctor even, and we never have to see that troll again! I love that woman LOL! So he goes to the Dr. Monday morning and everything worked out perfectly :D :weee :weee :weee

Class tonight was great. I am tired though, and have to help hubs pack tomorrow and stuff, so I am going to bed. That is my update for today.

Ali, I hope baby girl gets better and is less pukey for ya tomorrow :hugs
