Awesome! That's not too far off!! Are you getting kids or are you shooting for a doe already in milk? I am lovin my milk!!! If I had it to do over..I would definately get a doe in milk because it can be frustrating having them around without the payout Some don't exactly have winning personalities in the beginning

I have a lot to do today. I don't feel like doing any of it, so I am here procrastinating. Maybe while i do that some of it will do itself It's worth a shot

We're gonna try to get another load of steel today. We start the new place Friday and maybe we can have the loose stuff done in a few days, and get started tearing down other stuff to haul. Lotsa work to be done!!

I have to get caught up on laundry today, and clean this house up a bit. I need to make bread, and a carrot cake. I have work to do outside too, and hopefully I'll get the coop finished up with it's front wall completed and goat proofed

im debating, i realy want a kid so i can raise it up right....but i also know the joys of a goat in milk...
i might see if i can pick up a spotty kid and a Doe due to kid whos already experienced with hand milking,
that way ive got the best of both worlds.
but itll depend on what becomes available

I got a lot done, but I am sooooooo tired. We got a call this morning to go to work, so we went. I got some really cool stuff from the salvage I got a bayonet for a friends Chinese SKS out of the junk heap. I got some canning jars, a new top for my churn(the old one is broken), a silver serving tray, some unique antique brown glass salt and pepper shakers, and a couple old coffee makers...the kind you just put on the stove, no electricity needed kind of coffee makers. So, pretty cool, and we got a full truckload taken off. I am getting the two old Schwinn bicycles tomorrow. Those are NOT going to the scrap heap! I'll pay them for those instead There are more jars out there too. That is an old old place, and really cool to just look around in all the old barns. There are some old wooden butter churns out there too, but they have seen MUCH better days!

Other than that, I got the goat milking done, bread made, carrot cake made, neighbors horses fed, animals took care of, banking business done, supper done, and that is about all I have had time to do!

Mother nature is not being very nice to me today, I am headachy and backachy and CRANKY, and have been all day I think I'm about to head off to bed in a very short while. I need about 10 hours of good sleep and maybe I won't feel like such a mean spirited snarky hormonal person tomorrow. I played nice though, and only grumped inside my own head, so I just got on my own nerves and gave up eventually I did come home and snarf down a chocolate bar before supper though. I very much dislike days like this :/ Glad it's about over.

I hope everyone else had a better day, though mine wasn't bad aside from feeling blah!
