We just got back from fishing. Hybrids and whites are getting ready to start spawning. I can't wait even though we will be bank fishing this year . Way harder to get in the good spots that way. All we caught today was a drum(fish). They're not very good eating- cottony and bland. We saved it to put in the aquaponics tank.

Well, it's not supposed to hit till later this afternoon through tonight. Beyond that I had a bunch of chickens to catch and put up so I can collect eggs for Buffster. There is good news and bad news on that note. The good news is we got them all up. The bad news...looks like two of the best layers are in molt that I hadn't noticed until now, and I may run short on eggs. I'm supposed to get him 2 dozen, but may only get half that as those two were also the most mature, the others being pretty young still so not positive if they're laying regular since they haven't been seperated until now :/ Crapit! They pick the darndest times to slow laying Sorry Buffer :/ Maybe when the turks start and I send some of those eggs I can send more Del eggs then. I really need to hatch some more Dellies...can't have them going extinct around here! I have one egg from them so far

That spare roo sure flew out the cage when we let him out I had him locked up so as not to taint the Del blood for about 8 weeks now. He was SO happy to get turned loose again Poor boy!

I need to get out to the mom cave and get some things in the dirt here shortly and pray it doesn't blow away this afternoon :/ I don't like all the wind...it's making me nervous!
