Sounds good to me, but i'm not a tater expert ner nothin :hu I did mine in a couple big pots and a massive tote. I poked holes in the bottom of the tote for drainage, and hope they make something this year. They didn't do much of anything last year :hu

Despite claiming to be the easiest to grow, they are hard to grow. I just hope both of us have good luck. How many pounds did you plant? I am making poop tea to fertilize them and the other garden crops....

cant see why your aquaphonics wouldnt work, assuming you've got a large enough tank for them and good circulation.
Cool! I gotta get a filter set up tomorrow, and may be getting a small pool...16 round 4 ft. deep. kids pool with filter. I can transfer them into it slowly. I used pond water and rain water to get them set up tonight as a temporary thing. It's pretty murky though. I hope they live long enough to get set up!!! :fl

I hope your aquaponic's experiment turns out! I think it would be a cool thing to try, but I'll let you work the bugs out first! :pop

 I'll be sure to keep you up to date on my trial and ERROR :p I'm sure there will be more error to report than anything :gig I did not get to get it set up today, but the fish are still doing well regardless.

Today we took two truckloads over for the neighbors, they have until tomnorrow to finish moving, technically Wednesday, but they're worn out and are going to call it quits tomorrow no matter what's left. Then I hand washed 3 loads of clothes, skinned a bunch of catfish the neighbor caught and split with me for cleaning them, went and got the neighbor kid from school, and just sat down. I still have to go over and drag the kids play things over from out of the yard, go upstairs and get the shelves I want for the spare bedroom, drag over the basketball goal, tiller, leaf bagger, and a big steel cart that goes on the back of their riding mower. There is still a LOT of stuff I want to get before we'll be trespassing, but I figure I can get it in the next day or so. Most of what I am going to do today is for them. I really can't wait until this is all over and I can have a yard sale, reset up the garage, clean my yard up, get my aquaponics set up going, and get back focused on my garden!!!!! I still haven't gotten my beans staked!!!!!! I've been too darn busy! There's always this weekend I s'pose :/

Sounds like they are letting some really great stuff go! Too bad I live so far away, or I'd DEFINITELY be visiting your yard sale! ;)
