Happy Friday the 13th :p

I killed a dog and tore the fog light and bumper guard off my truck today. I also had to buy a battery after jumping my truck off first thing this morning when i went to get the tiller. Then the tiller almost fell out of the truck and spilled gas all in the back. Then I had to wait for the officer at the scene of the dog murder to get a police report filed. It has been a bit of an aggravating day. Then SIL and BIL came by and SIL made a comment about using the garage top to build a "dog shack" on the other side of their property :somad Excuse me.....that was given to us and we intend on USING it :smack She's so hateful :/

Anyway, we got 21 tomatoes set out, 36 cucumbers, 36 squash, and have FINALLY started staking the beans this afternoon. My GOOD neighbors are coming down to help finish the tomatoes, and peppers tomorrow.

Sounds like you have been busy with the garden, I just got my tomato plants today....48 of them!

I don't think I'll have nightmares. Not to sound callous, but it really doesn't bother me, especially when the nut was chasing an Amish buggy and just ran right under my tires. People should keep their dogs up :/ I am glad I killed it though, rather than just breaking it's legs or something. I hate to see animals suffer more than seeing them die. Stupid owners should have had the dog up anyway. :rant

We have about 200 tomato plants left to go, and about 100 or so peppers. Those will all get set out tomorrow, and then we'll get the bean fence ran. With 5 of us working, we should be able to handle that in a few hours.

Unfortunately the dog is NOT one of the annoying ones from next door. This one is was in Stantonville on the way to get the battery for the truck.

Well I just about have figured out I will run out of room in my garden by tomorrow  I still have SO much left to plant too!!!! I may just have to dig up the front yard :p I still have enough peas to plant another 1/4 acre, and I AM planting them....somewhere..

Maybe I can grow okra along the fence in the front, and peppers in the flower beds :p

Well we planted and staked tomatoes, got over half the beans staked, got the cukes and squash finished up, and planted the bell and banana peppers, and guess what?!?! I still have some room!!!!!! :woot I still have to plant okra, more Tabascos, some melons, and the sweet potatoes. I think I may be able to squeeze them in. Then I am planting the peas along the fences.
