We have coffee and donuts almost every Wednesday. And occasionally, we get pizza instead.

That would be an idea, if we can get a crowd going. We have 15 regular members....I believe. I'd love for it to increase to 50 regulars, but it'll be hard to get there. Me and Mom are going to mention this next Sunday morning. See what they think...any other thoughts?
If I think of anything else I'll let you know ;) I hope something works for you guys. 15 people is not that many at all. The small church I went to today had about 35 in attendance. not sure how many ours has now..we don't really count them like most churches do :p
Alrighty....thanks :)

Coffee and donuts is every Sunday morning at our church, the hour before Sunday school. It does encourage attendance, but we rarely ever make it that early with the drive we have.

The reason I haven't looked for a Church yet is I want to live near it. Gas prices do matter when driving a big old truck. Once we are settled, we will find one close. The ones out near our area are small and that is fine with us. God will show up!

I totally agree Snappy, God will show up :) I hope our situation gets better to where fuel consumption will not be such an issue, but I don't see how it could. However....there have been plenty of times I couldn't see how, and God came through anyway ;)

:caf up before the crack of dawn this mornin. DH accidentally woke me up at 3 a.m. not feeling well. With the storms coming in his asthma is horrendous. We had a good strong line of wind and rain early and now it's all quiet, he's snoring, and I can't go back to sleep :p I see a looooooooooooong day ahead. I have to do laundry this morning, and can some tomatoes. I need to get my shelves situated too, for the home canned goods we will have soon :D Duckies may start hatching today, guess we'll see on that as well. I hope these storms roll on through without much of a fuss and hubster gets through without being too ill.

Happy Monday ya'll!!!! :frow

You too!!!!!! Happy Monday that is. I'm in the middle of the Monday cooking spree! (Breakfasts for the week, dog broth and rice and spaghetti for dinner) DH and BIL are riding over to look at the MH as I speak. :fl

Hope your DH feels better soon! I just saw a thread about ginger tea for allergies and congestion. I'll get it if you like.
