i waw a little picture the other day that said "of course women dont work as hard...we get it right the first time!" and this just made me think of that LOL.

We got the Cornish X slaughtered. Two are in the oven right now smelling a WHOLE lot better than they did this time yesterday!!

I just sold the window unit air conditioner to a lady from our foster parenting class too.

Now I'm about to go haul a load of steel and call it a day. I'm about worn out already! Supper is in the oven, so I'm good on that. All I have left to do for the day after that is check on the pig again, and feed the bunnies. I need to stop by the hardware store and get some more clips to finish the fence. I hate I didn't have time to get pics and weights on the meat birds today for recordkeeping purposes, but oh well. My friend never showed up with those hens either :/ Hasn't called nor nothing.....I don't like when people do that. *sigh* Other friend was supposed to be down here an hour or so ago, but she has yet to show up, and I'm about to have to leave. Guess I'll see her when I get back......or not.

Lots to do today as usual. It's raining We needed some rain!!! The garden is gonna love it. We have been watering a bit, but that just keeps it alive, rain makes it really do well! I am excited to see how it looks in the next few days after the rain. I have to get this house cleaned up today. It hs been neglected.

I have chickies hatched out. 100% hatch this time It was only 5, but WOW! I LOVE the 100% hatch rates They hatched right on time too! I can't recall the last time I had such a successful hatch!

I get to put turkey eggs in the hatcher next week and I HOPE I get as good a hatch as with the chicks this time. I have 5 eggs to put in, and am praying

We all cried, it was said. I got 7 awards, and I retired from my office (but will be returning). Our graduating officers, got up and said a spill about everyone. It was a tear jerker, but oh well. I got a prestigous award, Star Chapter Farmer.
