Thanks everyone :) Yes Buff, they were nearly two weeks late. I think it was due to the cold snap. She has a 100% hatch rate again, 14 eggs, 14 babies. I know when the little stinker started brooding, and she was wayyyyyyy off. It got really cold for about a week though around the middle of the incubation. She obviously pulled them all through though :D I almost got flogged a few minutes ago. I left a shallow waterer out there, but the babies got in it, and couldn't hardly get out, about 5 were stuck, and I walked over to stick my hands in to assist, and she came at me with her wings spread and hissing  She missed me, but just barely :p She is a good momma ;)

I got 2/3 of the neighbors fence up today. No slaughter...I was mixed up on the day, it's tomorrow. The friend didn't come over either, her DH had the truck. So, I went and worked on fence. Tomorrow after we slaughter, I'll set the posts for the gate, get more clips, and hopefully finish up. The twins were being pests today. They had no nap, boy was screaming and crying every 2 seconds....sleepy. He is SO mean when he's sleepy :barnie I usually enjoy his company out there, but I couldn't get anything done today for him being a bloody tyrant :/ I finally just took him in and put him to bed and made him stay, unfortunately not before his momma tore his tater patch up  He yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" in her face..biiiiiiiiiiiig mistake :hide

Anywahoozit I got a good bit done today, but not as much as I had wanted. The washer is here. It's pretty well used...nearly used up...but at least it works for now. :hu I have to have a pair of tweezers to run it(don't ask)and the front is tore half off, and the lid comes off, but it washes the clothes, and for THAT I am thankful. :p If ya'll here *clunk clunk clunk* that's me doing laundry  :gig

No problemo Snappy! :D

I just sold every last chick I had :woot :weee I had 44 left, sold them for $85 :D That was pure profit from my purchase Saturday morning. I broke even at the flea market, and these were my profit birds. So I made $85 for a few hours work. I call that good ;) Tomorrow is slaughter day, no chicks to feed, no meat birds to feed, no roosters to feed, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Less morning chores sounds good :)

The neighbor across the street called earlier, wanted me to bring my tiller over and till them up a spot out back, small area, just 20x15 to put in a few things. Tiller is deasd, and still sitting there to make a long story short :hu

The idiots that supposedly "fixed" it to begin with thought it a good idea to epoxy a PLASTIC fuel tank. Ya see how long into the season THAT lasted, right? They're getting a call tomorrow. That was stupid. They're gonna fix it, or else :old
