My grandma is dying. She's in the hospital. They did a kidney biopsy and gave her steroids and she has gone straight downhill in 2 days. I honestly don't expect her to make it through this week. :/ It's good for her though, she was ready to go when my step granddaddy died a few months back. Still...it just sucks. So much for flicking a booger today...maybe tomorrow

moxie, it really is what she wanted. Her whole lifestyle has changed drastically in the months since she lost Joe, and not for the better. She lost her best friend, her home, her independence...I haven't seen her happy in a long time. She deserves happiness. I just hope it is quick and not too painful, for her sake. BUT....God's will, not mine, be done.

I do understand WBF. My paternal grandmother did the same thing...more or less. Grandpa passed back in 72, and she had lived long enuff without him by 89. She was type 2 diabetes, and just decided on her own to stop eating. Quality of life is important. If a person is not happy, then it doesn't matter how many years they live.
I miss her. I miss both of my grandmas.

Yeah, she's my last grandparent. I miss my other grandma too. Never really knew my grandpas. It's really making me mad I can't go see her because I don't have gas

Okay now the doctors are saying the steroids is what made her go crazy. They have her sedated. She was getting violent and weird and talking crap to everybody. No more steroids! GRRR! Grandma with roid rage is NOT cool! Anyway, should get biopsy results Tuesday. Ugh....dunno how this is gonna turn out. Everything is so up in the air right now. Hopefully she'll at least regain her marbles
