Thanks Dawn, we're kind of attached to the less hairy one...the jury is still out on the other since he peed in the floor AFTER being taken outside...sheesh, puppies SMH!

Thanks for fixing the double post too :D

I have a lot to do this coming week. Hopefully some of it will produce some of that illusive green paper stuff that will keep the vultures at bay for a bit longer. Tomorrow is supposed to be chick pick up, Tuesday is grocery shopping in Tupelo with the neighbor...the rest of the week is work around here, but LOTS of it. Then the weekend is leftovers to the flea market for another chance of getting rid of them. I'm writing a To Do list, otherwise I'll never be able to keep up with all of it. I have been so hairbrained lately. Stress makes me stupid :p

Missed church today. Lately I haven't really felt much like going. I know I NEED to, but I just haven't really felt like the drive and worrying about the gas and all that. I had to take niecey and the new puppy home, so we skipped again :hide Maybe we'll go Wednesday.

I hope everyone else had a good day.

Just found DD and her little boyfriend on the bed, him on top of her. If I EVER wanted to commit child abuse it's now :somad I wouldn't be so mad if I hadn't talked to the BOTH of them already about hanging all over each other all the time, and I do think they were just playing/wrestling/whatever because I was going back there to tell them to pipe down but...GRRRRRRRRR :rant I found THAT instead! :rant :rant STUPID TEENAGERS :barnie What is WRONG with kids that they think that is okay and/or appropriate?!?!?! Moreso it's disrespectful of MY wishes because i have ASKED them NICELY to NOT do things like that...I'm gonna choke the life out of my child for being so rebelious one of these days :smack :smack

I can't even talk to them right now. They are banned from visiting in her bedroom :rant Rotten brats! I have a good mind to take the stupid boy home.

I'd take him home, if they can't behave separate 'em.

Probably a better option is the old water hose :p

I wound up taking the boy home, and chewing them out the ENTIRE 30 minute drive to his house. I told them both if it happens again, that will be the end of their visiting at each others homes, and they'll be lucky to see each other at school :old Momma don't play that crap! That's the LAST time I'm sayin' it :rant

Bee, they are hormonal 15 and 16 year old twits. Granted they were "just goofing around" THAT time, but I told them if they can't behave appropriately, they don't need to be hanging out together. I scared the boy half to death anyway. He was sitting on the couch about to cry. Serves him right, and it embarassed the crap out of DD too, which serves her just right as well. He barely talked on the way home except to say yes ma'am and no ma'am. I chewed their butts out REAL good and warned them next time, if they even so much as DARE to do it again, there will be no talking. I assured the both of them I only have to make one phone call for bail money :hide

Anyway...now that that is over, we had a good dinner when we got home. Bacon cheeseburgers with a slab of fresh tomato and homemade mayo :drool Now we're watching Tangled on Encore. Better enjoy TV while we have it. I'm about to cut it off again.

It has been a Monday alllllllllllllll day. I planted bush beans, burned a big ole pile of scraps, made bread, made mayo, made ranch, run errands, and hauled a load of steel. Actually WE hauled steel. I'd die if I had to do ALL that myself :

Easy. rule 1 is no boys in bedrooms. simple as that. 'no good reason' they need privacy like that.

my mom at about age 8 laid down the law. no boys in bedrooms ever in her house :) it worked lol

you best be having some type of sex talk with the girl because you are better safe than sorry. while we always think they might know or are not doing anything, an unwanted pregnancy can ruin lives. worth saying something. I would. I sure wouldn't let young'ins screw up their futures. not worth it.

Yep....that's the age when all the hormones catch up to each other at the same time for both boys and girls. Curiosity and all that follows and I remember those days....keeping boys out of the bedroom is only the beginning of your problems. They will find other venues for their exploration...... :barnie

I don't have one word of wisdom to offer except pray, pray, pray and turn it over to God. Unless you chain her to her bed and never let her out until you have her wed and ready to be a mom, there is really no way to prevent a girl from becoming a woman and having opportunities to explore that option. Even extreme fear of a belting and living out in the boonies with little to no opportunities to see boys will not curb it....I know this from personal experience. :hide
