I agree, though you can't ignore the fact that not too terribly long ago, it was acceptable to be married at 15 or 16 years of age. I think it is much more going on than just our culture. It is such a twisted tangled web that it is almost impossible to point the finger at a single one thing. I think the chemicals and drugs that are rampant in our food supply are wreaking more havoc than anyone will admit. It will be interesting to see how life unfolds over the next several decades. There are a LOT of things that are illegal (drugs, hormones, genetically modified foods) in Europe and elsewhere that are not illegal in the US, and only time will tell what the wise decision is/was.Wannabefree said:I think culture plays a huge role too. I think the growth hormones and such can and do play a role, but I don't think it is as much as the culture in general when it comes to pronounced sexuality showing up in younger and younger children.
