I got another bushel of tomatoes, and DH made me a little stand to sell them out by the road. I got corn picked too, but only 6 dozen ears. Then I picked up niecey girl and she is staying the night. We're going to get more tomatoes tomorrow morning. It is SO HOT today!!!

I gotta get laundry caught up...wasn't what I had planned, btu I need to get it done. And I still have to get the tomatoes set out, and cukes, for Fall crop, and get broccoli and brussel sprouts started.

It's gonna be a looooooong day. I got stung 4 times by a stupid sweat bee that got in my shirt already while we were putting up the produce stand. At least it wasn't a wasp

i gotta go, lunch is over, and I still have a ton to do.

My neighbor just called out of the blue and said they paid my electric bill I am NEVER gonna be able to get those folks paid back....never ever. I guess I better get to work making them some pizzas or something I did get them some soda coupons this week that will save them a TON, so that's a start.

I have to go pick tomatoes again tomorrow. I have 2 5 gallon buckets full from this morning. I have 5 more ordered from various folks, and I will be delivering them tomorrow. Hopefully I can sell a LOT more. I have to haul steel so maybe some of the folks up there in the office will need some too, and i will check with the ladies at the bank, and the ladies at the courthouse when I drop off my cousins bushel. I might actually be able to pay the house payment this month

Well I got 9 bushels of tomatoes this morning and have them all gone now. I made a nice little bit of cash and burned about 40 bajillion calories I go back Friday to get more.

Now I gotta get some stuff done around here. I gotta make a stromboli and bread and ranch again, and mayonnaise again, and I need to make some more tartar sauce. *sigh* AND plant beans and set out tomatoes and cabbage and peppers. Then I have to put some tomatoes up this afternoon. I am gonna be beat! Yet duty calls.....(wish he'd lose my number sometimes )

Har har Deb i think I have been burning WAAAAAAAAY too much energy for any of that.

I sold my first maters from the front yard stand today The first sale is always the hardest!

I talked to my farmer for a bit today, and am encouraging him to plant MORE peas and stuff so I can come pick it I stopped and bought him some pea seed to plant another patch, because I KNOW he is about to plow under the corn field I picked the other day, and what better time to have seed on hand I'll be picking some peas sometime this week on his farm, and then going with a friend to pick more at another place to resell as well. I have orders for about 6 more bushels of tomatoes today too. WHEW! I am gonna be busy and I'm lookin forward to it!

I'll send ya some alright I need to quit selling ALL of them, and actually put some up myself. I need more spaghetti/pizza sauce myself.

We don't use to many tomato'ish things but we need to do another batch of spaghetti sauce, batch of tomato soup, and I have a good pizza sauce recipe, but I usually just make it when we need it.
