Looks like I'll be getting another truck this afternoon....mixed feelings...I am working my tail off. I LOVE doing it, but this is the 4th truck in 2 weeks, and will be the 5th or 6th load....I lost track. :hu Each load runs about 1500 pounds. My truck and my back are complaining a little bit  At least I have till 3 before I have to go pick up though...maybe I can get laundry finished at least, and get bills paid. I knew I should have stayed home and done it yesterday :barnie Dang cows...guess my play time here is over :( See ya'll when I see ya :frow

Got bills paid, errands run, limes squeezed and ready for the freezer, more onions in the dehydrator, and laundry is COMPLETE..until tomorrow :/ It's almost time for me to go pick up, and i am ready for a nap....so tired lol!! I have to go to the feed store for a few things, and pick up that load though, so no sleeping for now. I hope this truck is easy to get rid of, sometimes, it's not, and i get stuck with a bunch of stuff I can't stand seeing go to waste....like limes, and onions....so my workload increases. I did find someone else who wants limes, but not 400 of them *sigh* I need a massive compost bin...all the food prep I have been doing just the last few weeks, has filled a 39 gallon trash can that i am using for compostables until I get my bin built. The catch 22 is i haven't had time to build the stankin bin yet .....PHOOEY!!! *yawn* :barnie

I'm going, I'm going........................

Sorry your workload is in overload :hugs

Wish I lived closer - a lot of the stuff you end up with, I'd be willing to pay for! Hard to get limes here and, when I find them, they cost WAY too much!

(P.S. I have been a shameless lurker, and have followed your journal, but no time lately to post :( )

Aw sis :hugs Wish you lived closer too! I got in a bit ago, but have been too tired to type

I got most of it handed out. We had some really great stuff on this truck, along with lemons and limes  we had strawberries, tangerines, apples, MORE onions, MORE potatoes :p and a few other odds and ends things. I have to go out to the Amish tomorrow to unload the rest of it. I FINALLY got rid of all those dang onions today :woot The other day I couldn't MAKE people take them, but today seems everyone needed some once i mentioned freezing them :D Now i have to find a reason for people to want limes.....I'll have to think harder on that one :gig

Shew....I am TIRED though! About to go to bed, and sleep late tomorrow just because I feel like it. My bones ache and muscles I didn't know I had are screamin tonight! No school here tomorrow so DD is going to help meh....whether she wants to or not :p I'm sure she'll like that idea....but I need some HELP!

It shouldn't take long though, since we got most of it gone tonight.

MAYBE tomorrow will not be so dang cold and damp....I sure hope so. I'm tired of the funky nasty rainy weather already.. It makes truckloads that much more difficult to haul AND to give out! Plus it puts me in a mood if it lasts too long :(

Night folks!

Believe me when I tell you I wish I could!!! I am beat! The best part of these trucks is we get to keep some too though. And....it can also be the worst part when we get stuck with stuff. BUT I don't mind keeping some strawberries for our freezer :D I did keep a flat of those, and have been munching on them off and on all day. I am so very tired though! I did get to hit a yard sale while out, and found me a phone for $5....JUST like I wanted, JUST like the one AT&T tried to sell me for over a hundred bucks...so suck on that AT&T!! FIVE dollars, and it works perfectly :D :D

We actually did two trucks today, and it was exhausting. I have a headache :( I have to go get DD from work here shortly though, so I'm trying to stay awake long enough to do that. Funny thing, I got a call today, was some guy looking for a Jersey bull calf, and we got to talking, it's DD's boss' husband  We just met last week, small world :hu He's talking about taking the smaller two calves. That would leave me enough cash to get a bull for the older calf just in time to breed her, and we'd have beef in the freezer shortly thereafter because I have decided I don't really want to maintain a bull. It's just to easy to get someone to A.I. or buy, breed, slaughter. I'm not really too worried about pure i just really REALLY want all that milk!!!!

So, anyway, I can't type a very cohesive paragraph...I keep bouncing from one subject to the next, so...I'm gonna just quit
