Hubby said the girl from Glee who sang right before her should have been given the honor. She would not have been a waste of time (don't know her name, but the brunette lead from Glee sang America the beautiful).

In her defense, Christina Aguilara said in an interview that she was highly embarassed, that she got "lost in the honor of the moment" or some such and accidentely repeated that line.

I know from my days of being able to sing, THAT song is really a hard one.
