We had been pretty hot and dry... ya know... high 60s...

I bought paint, told eldest to paint... now we are cool and drizzly

there wasn't any rain at all in the forecast a few days ago, then last night there was a slight chance of rain overnight, but it's turned into about three hours of gentle rains still going. this is very much needed by the gardens and also me to have a break as my feet are aching from all the hard shoveling i've been doing to get this last garden ready for planting. this morning i'm reading and taking it easy. may not do a thing today. we'll see...

That's not fair! However, if our forecast is right (lol) we should be getting some starting tomorrow and for several more days after that.

We started out sunny but clouds and rain forecast. We did get some clouds, then some showers but not as much as I thought. Temps hit low 80's and possible more rain for tomorrow morning but then cooler and clear for the rest of the week. All the hay got baled yesterday... will probably start cutting again Mon aft or Tuesday. Still got a fair amount to make, maybe another 100+ acres I guess . 30 of it custom make for a neighbor....
