7" So far. Now falling in fat lazy flakes. Hubby and I went out together to do the snow work. It took us about 2 hours. We are still waiting for the plow guy to come do the driveway. So we're snowed in for now, thought we could punch through the combing with snow blower if we had to get out. We also needed to let the wood fire die completely b/c we needed to clean stove pipe and ash bin. I'm very thankful that it was not very cold today. Not having an alternate heat source makes timing of such things a bit more difficult. I'm also thankful that DH has Mondays off. The weather has been compliant in that regard, with a lot of our winter storms occurring on a Monday. I am completely worn out after the shoveling/pushing of snow. clearing snow from green house, and bird's sun room roof put a lot of stress on this old body.
Dtr posted that she went to work, and did not see a plowed road ANYWHERE, including the interstate. I wonder if snow budgets have been used up for the year? So, they are cutting corners.
It started raining yesterday afternoon and it was pouring by the evening. Finally stopped late morning today... I read a bit about the forecast for the rest of the week and they are predicting a very mild Friday, followed by more rain and possible snow over the weekend. Typical March can't make it's mind up weather lol
I'm gonna share your weather pattern, NH. Only 1 - 3 scheduled, starting mid morning. High temp today was 34. I saw 1 motorcycle, and several folks wearing shorts. Folks are celebrating the warm weather!
