Not sure how much though.

good thing most of it takes care of itself.

i've experienced thundersnow a few times so far.

last night we had a few inches of snow and it is foggy and warmer now. i'll go out and shovel the drive in a few minutes because we're expecting a propane delivery and i like to make sure they have a clear path, plus getting the snow off the driveway so it can all melt instead of being compacted down into ice makes life better too. don't want anyone to slip and fall. plus i need the fresh air and an excuse to get outside...

push, not lift. that's the mantra...

it wasn't too bad. my back didn't complain, that was what i was worried the most about. fresh air and not too cold and the sun is actually out now so it should all melt and dry off. i really needed the exercise. i get grumpy when i can't get outside enough and move.

That is typical here too. Nice an overcast for snowing = warmer weather.

But we have been cold and snowing for a full 6 days now... and still circling zero.

Wow!


We did warm up...hit 20F. So.... I should be thrilled, i do not like negatives....

But I will complain anyway.... now I am worried the warmer snow will clog up the snow blower more often (as we all know it will), and yep... we totally busted our handmade plow....

Well..... things are looking up!


After a week of constant snow, I can see SKY! Truly... kind of surreal at this point... but yep, still there.

And, the slight warm up did not make the snow clumpier... it still was fine in the snow blower.




I am thrilled.

Snow is in the forecast... but I think we have a 3 day break.... so all good!
