I haven't smelled like fish after canning, but have been told I smell like vinegar.

My latest canning excursion was apple pie filling. Unfortunately, I overfilled a couple of the jars and the filling spilled out, causing failed seals (but at least that means I get to make pie now).

Got some more tomatoes today; they are peeled and diced and ready for me to pop into jars first thing tomorrow morning. Should be enough for 1 canner load of quarts.

Not all done today (but within the past week or so), roasted salsa (19 hp), SB marinara (10 p), tomato sauce (7 p), crushed tomatoes (5 p), corn cob jelly (4 hp), fiesta corn salsa (16 hp). Next up is apple everything, then pumpkins (frozen purée), and cranberries.
