The wife is getting the ingredient lists together. Guess I will be canning more this weekend. Vegetable beef soup, ham and bean soup, and retry the apple butter.

Had to curb her enthusiasm. Lolol. She's already planning for the weekend after.

Not canning today, but had some lactose free milk that had to be used up so I made some homemade chocolate pudding

Picked about 25 lbs of apples this past Wed, so applesauce will be canned this weekend.

Well truth be known, our free range chickens, wild rabbits and who knows what other kinds of critters had their way with the garden this year. Now that I have the garden fenced in and ALL the chickens fenced in also. We have tomatoes . Don't know if that helps with covid or not, probably not. But I'll be praying for you Sis.

Right now Apple Butter, Been cooking in the copper kettle since sunrise over the open fire , it's canned now and into the hot water bath ala open fire .

Love to smell apples cooking but, still eating applesauce & apple butter from last year. I was pretty busy then, it seems! at least I had lots of stuff...canned. 2021 garden wasnt. 2022 will grow, yes it will!!!
