change of plans...no applies. pickling some broccoli, kohlarbi, onions and orange beets--not all together a couple different batches but I have to use some stuff up before it spoils.

Figured it out...all good. Still held pressure even though the vent was open. Will check that after work
what kind of canner do you have? This is a problem with the All American; after a while, under heat and pressure, the lid gets molded to fit the bottom perfectly and it becomes difficult to open. Apparently the answer is to rub a very light film of oil over the surfaces
