Corn. Corn. Corn. Started about 7 last night with prepping for freezer, on cob. Found freezer was already almost full. 😲. Then shucked, cleaned, cut off cob....had 14 pints pipped at 4am. I can SURE see how double stacking is a good thing. But, don't have.

After work, I'll start up about 2 today....you got it, shuck, cut, can. This takes so much prep time! Haven't put up corn in years so a reality check going on. 😁😬

I'm thinking green beans will probably be supplying enough to can at least one canner this weekend. While I am blessed and happy to have this food -- the workload is growing. And there is the milk, cream, cheese to do needs. Tomatoes are threatening me with even more.

We need veggies to arrive "by appointment"...🤣😋

ETA....friend called yesterday to say figs ripening and please stop today for those she's picked. Will be dehydrating those today, too.

Corn still. I'm about done...chickens will get some now. Another field should be fresh in couple weeks, I'm told. Saving myself for that. Yep...with rain it'll be a green bean weekend! Got my other cheese cultures, so I want to get that cheddar started. Need to work it into the schedule.😊
