Years back we hosted crawfish boils fairly regularly. We made 'em as hot and spicy as we could. We always tried to give fair warning to inexperienced folks.... Don't rub your eyes or any other tender part of your body. Only took once for them to learn their lesson!

there are some real scorcher pepper varieties available now that i would not even want to look at or walk near. i'm ok with a little heat, but not that much is required by me. even if i'm acclimating to it more i still don't want that much as it is also the flavor i'm after.
