Found out I was gluten intolerant, which caused me to start looking into healing my body.

Learned how to lactoferment, and did alot of it.

Started milk kefir and water kefir (already did kombucha)

Started a sourdough starter and became obsessed, even though I can't eat it--I make it for the health of my family.

Helped my dh butcher a deer, three sheep, over 40 chickens and several ducks. (Sorry, but the other sheep are going to tha abbatoir)
butchered too many to count-rabbits and quail.

Did not spend on red cent on commercially processed foods like cereal etc.

Got all the crap out of our diets, (and ds's behaviour and grades have really shown improvement.)

Learned to milk sheep. Loved sheep milk, do not love milking my sheep

Got a calf, so I can milk her instead, hoping she will be docile, unlike my sheep

Discovered that I need help with my gardens, and just had a serious talk with my family that I can't do it all alone, and they will be required to put in weeding time next year.

Lost weight by discovering a lower carb, higher fat diet (thanks y'all!)

Got my mil started on kombucha

got my sis started on kefir, and also piqued her interest in healthy eating (as in Nourishing Traditions type eating)

Started going back to our previous (before we moved) church, and my faith has been growing.(45 minutes is worth the drive)

I'm sure there is alot more, but that is it for now.

1) I got two separate fence projects completed!

2) Got the greenhouse house built and actually grew some things in it!

3) Bought a crock and fermented some Sauerkraut.

4)Fermented some mixed garden veggies in the same crock and they are edible!

5) Started making our own Yogurt this year!

6) Screwed up my deer hunting by moving my blind(tried to be smarter than the deer)

7) Moved the blind back to where I should have left it, and started feeding the deer, so maybe this season won't be a TOTAL waste(still have 4 more days of muzzle loader season in January! :fl :fl )

8) We JUST finished up canning the LAST of our garden produce this evening, by making and canning our spaghetti sauce!!

Moved onto hubby's family land (been trying to do that for 4 yrs now)

got partially set up for the goats

sold 33 meat chickens to clients

figured out that I am gluten intolerant (thanks ya'll!!!)

remodeled our new house and sold the old one

got rid of a lot of "stuff"

homeschooling--well, kinda unschooling, really

read everyday

cooked more from scratch

got bees and hives ordered and joined a beek group

learned how to use some new power tools

haven't killed the neighbor's dogs........yet (as I see one run across my back yard coming from the chicken/rabbit run)

we were in limbo a lot this past year with the move so hopefully we can settle into more of a routine for 2011

Accomplishments in 2010,....

Well for one, as someone else said, I managed not to kill DH. :D A miracle in itself! :gig

I took the time off so to speak, to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. You know,..when I grow up thing,..:p

Finally admitted to myself it is okay to be "SS" and being "different" than everyone else. :tongue To all the naysayers & unself-sufficent folks!

Aquired 31+ more acres to my little 1+ acres. Now I have PLENTY of room! :celebrate

Lost weight going low carb,....thanks guys for all the info! :)

Learned the fact that some people you just can't get along with, better to just let it go.

2010 was an eye opener for me! ;) Cannot wait to get started on 2011!!
