Do I need to blanch sweet corn before dehydrating it? I have some that I bought that is old and starchy so I want to dehydrate it for winter treats for the birds.

I'm not sure what the correct answer is - but I wouldn't blanch it if you'll be using it soon and it's for critters. That's just me...

Lots of catnip. Some will go to my Great Aunt and some to one of my Aunts.

It's been so long since we had rain it was horribly dusty. I had to wash the leaves four times to get the water to run clear.

Puppy got high chewing on the stems. That's the only explanation for how weird he's being right now.
