I love dehydrated bananas - I always dip the slices in fresh lime juice to reduce their turning brown.

Why don't I dehydrate more fruit? I dunno but I need to remedy that, lol. Dehydrated kiwi sounds delish!

DH gave me a cabinet style dehydrator for Yule. It's so quiet compared to my Nesco! I don't know what to use it for first!

Maybe for proofing bread dough? (Now I can get rid of my dying bread machine that I only used for proofing dough in winter!)

IDK! What would you dehydrate? (Keeping in mind that produce/veggie is low quality and prices are high.)

We had a bumper crop of apples. I already dehydrated more apple slices than we will eat in a year.

I have dehydrated mushrooms, celery, and apples put up.

About 12 years ago I bought/slurged on a 12 tray Excalibur. Its a work horse. It doesn't have an on off switch so I plug it into an extension cord when I turn it off at night.

Cabbage is on sale. One head is sliced up and going. Hope to get several more done. It should be fine in soup.

I found ripe cherries for cheap at the discount grocery store. 6# pitted, halved and in the dehydrator.
