The barn is sooo under utilized now that it's shameful. I hope to use it for kidding stalls again this year and set up a better milking area later so that "we" can be more comfy for winter milking, that I hope to do in 2019 -- didn't do 2018, from prior year experience. :) Only one old stallion using one stall, when he feels inclined. It's set for free access from his paddock. He's 36.

The basics are there but, I need to clean, reassign some inside. It's a summer project. Current milking area ok but need more closure for the winter.

You can BOTH buy a tractor! :D Trust me, it's been one of the best $20K+ I've spent but, I have 15 acres to work. Payments are a commitment but, soon will be over. I have a couple pieces of attachments I want to add to the collection. Then, done!!

There are a LOT of pieces you can get now to work with a riding mower or ATV. Wish they had been available 10 years ago, could have really used them.

I want to till so bad and it's so wet you can't. Farmers in my area are generally working their fields about now...but, currently it's way too wet and more rain coming all week :(

Wait.. You have a barn? I'm so jealous

I have serious barn envy. I also have serious tractor envy.

What did I do in the garden today? I took a walk in the garden. The snow crust was thick enough to bear my body weight without falling through! Still more than 12" of snow in my yard.

We have a few bare spots in the yard, but not the garden yet.

I have a little barn and a little tractor. Fortunately we raise little animals lol!

That's okay, LG....later on in the summer when everyone south of you is sweltering in the heat and humidity so much they are watering gardens and can't even get out there to work in them, you'll be sitting pretty! ;)

I spread some pelleted lime, got out my tunnel frames, closed the gates to chickens and plotted out where I'll plant this season. I was going to plant something but will do that another day...other, more pressing things to do right now.

I did a few laps of the backyard myself this afternoon. My otherwise great new phone struggles with calls taken or made inside my house (2.5 ft thick walls...), so I have to go out there if I want to talk to anyone. I seriously need to do some weeding out there.

I have serious barn envy. I also have serious tractor envy.
Me too... Gosh, I want a barn. A BIG barn.
