Was à fun day in the garden today, putting chicken wire around the perimeter because of evidence rabbit(s) were snacking. Rabbits seem to come in waves, some years you don't see any, then they are all over the place the following year. It must be the year of the rabbit. If I see that lil furball, he'll be in the pot, then in my belly right quick.

The local wild rabbits have beaten a path to the guinea shed all winter. They clean up the oats that the guinea hens bill out of the feeder. We do have a healthy population of rabbits at our place.

DH has been promising to make some raised beds for the garden area. Looks like I will be getting (2) 12'x4'x20" raised beds made from concrete blocks - with a 2x8 top for sitting on. $100 in materials for each one is the current estimate.
