yarrow is a lovely plant if you're not reactive to it. we used to have several gardens out front of the white kind and also had a yellow and some other colors like reds and pinks. i didn't mind that it had escaped into the lawn as the frondy leaves would stay green even after the grasses had gone dormant in the hotter and drier parts of the summer. then Mom decided she didn't like it and it was spreading into other areas and gardens so since then we've removed it. a few hundred square feet. we just smothered it for a few years.

i'm not familiar with the plant in the pictures.

I know that this one is an evergreen bush that it is old and it is hard to get out. Hopefully this summer it is all out. I don't like it and bring too many bees. I know how important are bees but I'm allergic and get paralyzed by their sting.

This is another invasive plant that I want out and also hard. The root system is very strong. Leaves are oak trees but do not think is poison ivy. It is a bush.

So it's a bush? Check and see if it's Snowmound (Spiraea Nipponica)

Yes, you are right on the spot, lol
Hub just doesn't like and hard roots next to the foundation of the house. So more likely, it might go.

Tired. He did me some frames and I put a cardboard box down inside, watered it really good, put organic mix and sweep spanish onions are in. May the Lord bless it. It is my very first time working up a garden, 😆

Checked the garden this morning, soil is still moist, rain coming overnight.

The squash, zucchini, and cucumbers have started putting out their post germination leaves. Only about half the beans are up. Lettuces are slow. I may have planted them too deep.

The tomatoes......are starting to form flower buds.
