Your silkies lay blue eggs? We've gotta talk - I need your secret, lol!

Eight some years ago I hatched silkie x ameraucana chicks. One was the rooster I had in with my large fowl. The two hens live with the silkies and I used them as a base for my silkie blue egg project. I have a couple gen 5 pullets now. They look like all the other partridge silkies. Only carry one copy of the gene. Haven't had a really good cockerel from a blue egg yet to start trying to get birds carrying two copies.

That is awesome! I hope you reach all your goals - and then I'll be begging for you to sell me some eggs, lol.

the raised bed is mostly set up and I bought lavender and chive seeds as well as 400 feet of Jute twine. I need some more soil but I only used 4 bags in total to get to where I did
