J got 3 new sewing jobs this morning and 1 yesterday afternoon. The one yesterday was a $20 quickie for a neighbor and rather than take the cash, I convinced him to barter for a bag of layer pellets. The gal was going to town to do some shopping and to get the cash, so we just asked her to stop by the honor barn and grab the chicken feed instead. The other 3 jobs will bring in about $150.
Holy cow, I love Facebook! Posting things I've just finished brings a steady strickle of requests for artwork. Total, I'm +$403 for the week. My first trip in April is paid for. Now I need to work on the more expensive (and fun) trip in June.
I hauled off some copper and aluminum cans. I have to wait FIVE days for the stupid check for the copper. Thieves will find a way around it anyway :/ I don't like dishonest people
Heading to a huge Garden Expo tonight with several hundred soaps, several hundred lip balms, deodorant, body balm, and piles of canned jams, jellies and pickled veggies. This show is usually a significant money maker for me. Whoohoo!
