I have left over ham chunks (tired of it) and pinto beans in insta pot on slow cook. Ham bone in freezer for another day. So, couple dinners & lunches cooking. Bread machine, loaf working. May do another after this one.

Dang, I have a turkey breast I want to cook. Prefer oven but, might be a different method soon....or wait another month for cooler weather😁

I made the best dinner last nite. Sliced those small black eggplants. Saute in some olive oil, mince up two slices bacon, add small onion, can of artichokes, and some home grown cherry tomatoes. Saute uncovered on low for 20 min. Add some pesto (mine was homemade). and then place on top of cooked spaghetti. Drizzle with more olive oil and top with parmesan! Delish!!

yesterday's breakfast was a few diced Beaver Dam peppers (just the right amount of heat for me) and some butter and cheese on them. i picked them a few days ago because they were dragging in the dirt and i didn't want them to spoil before i could eat them. good flavor and good production so these may be my keepers for some heat and peppers that i enjoy. Jalapenos have not been reliable most times i've grown them.

last night i had some fresh blueberry pie filling and a couple chunks of cheese (to slow it down :) )... today will be burger day - the Mom has spoken. :) breakfast can be light since burgers are scheduled for lunch.
