i cooked the past few days, burgers for dinner Thursday, Friday was macaroni and tomato chunks for lunch and leftovers then i made frozen veggies for dinner. yes, i know very difficult things to make but we are both happy with simple fare sometimes. :) Mom was happy that she didn't have to cook and i told her i was happy to cook all the time if she didn't want to do that.

oh, and i also attempted to rescue some butter that was starting to grow mold. i think it went ok as i just rinsed it off with hot water and then drained it well and put it in the fridge to harden back up. when i used it later on the veggies it was ok and didn't smell like blue cheese any more... :) so i was glad to have done something new and learned a bit from it... :)

i'd already spent a lot of time doing all the dishes so it really doesn't matter to me. i enjoy both cooking and food prep and doing dishes. pretty much the only thing i do not like doing is dusting. imagine, just one thing in life i don't like out of all the billions of other choices. ok, well, i don't really like going to the dentist or docs, but those are just givens right? :)

this morning i return to foodie stuff with peeling and breaking apart some tangerines and cutting up some apples for us to have as snacks.
