What? No freezer?? You have a frig? Ok -- you need to make another pan of those! if he doesn't get back soon enough, you'll have to eat those, too! Tough luck.
Last night I had some ham and beans...used a pint of beans I had canned this summer. Fast, good, just added the ham with broth.
i cooked up some beans yesterday (molasses face aka yellow eye). so they were eaten last night with melted cheese, ranch dressing and a shot of hot sauce. today they were used for burritoes. good eats.
just finishing up left-overs here, noodles this and noodles that. all good, just told Mom though that she'll need to put more veggies/mushrooms in them in the future...
Made a pot of goat meat stew, to have with rice or noodles. Pretty good. Braised on top of stove, added wine, water spices and into oven for a few hours. Tender and tasty. Food from freezer and heating house. multi tasking as I watched last night's snow melt away. Winds were bitter!!! All the animals were snuggled in the barns and me in the house.
Oddly, a program on a TV cooking channel was discussing goat meat cooking! Anyone realize it is most eaten meat on a worldwide basis? I knew goat milk was most used. Lucky me,. I have both.
Just picked a zucchini from the garden and made a zucchini slice with cheese, spring onion, capsicum and bacon. Far too hot to be in the kitchen this week. Set with leftovers for a few days
