DH is so easy to cook for. He could absolutely eat hamburger (patties - not necessarily sandwiches) and sausage for every meal and not get tired of it, lol. He's a carnivore for sure.

Stir fry sounds great!

haha! yes, i understand that, we do plain patties for our burgers too here, just fried with a little butter and garlic salt and we do like to warm up some canned mushrooms to go with them, but that's about it.

when i feel like condiments my favorite combination is plenty of Miracle Whip, ketchup, gobs of onions and tomato. the more it looks like a train wreck the better. :)

it is a massive amount to eat as we make rather large patties, i don't have to eat anything the rest of the day.

i don't really trust ground meat so these are cooked to just below medium (slight pink inside) and i also do not squeeze the juice out of them so when i cut into them on the plate they squirt juice all over the plate.

tonight was half a ham and cheese sandwich and a few cookies (those cookies are now gone so i can get to work on some other ones tomorrow). i did have some asparagus and sardines for lunch.

today was fish sticks for lunch i had enough cookies for breakfast so i skipped dessert thus making the dessert for dinner option completely viable. one peanut butter ball (mostly powdered sugar so i added more peanut butter on top to give it a kick).

veggie or fruit snack later if i get hungry enough. i hope not - curling up and hibernating for a few weeks sounds better. :)

I can't eat eggs in the mornings, have to have been awake for at least 4 hours. Stomach rebels and has done so for decades. We eat egg based breakfast food for dinner.

Had hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and bacon for dinner. It's fairluly quick to make and we were running behind on time

i love lasagna. :) that was lunch. it was really good. dinner was a cookie, a candy and a bowl of strawberries with whipped cream on them. frozen sliced berries that actually taste like strawberries in the winter a few days before Christmas.

Mom is now making garlic bread because we have another large pan of lasagna that we'll be eating tomorrow when a friend shows up for dinner. lasagna three or four days a week is about as close to perfection as i can ask for. :) i'll tell Mom that it is a very well appreciated Christmas gift. :)

Holiday dinner at DS's this evening. Smoked brisket that DS has been cooking all night. I cooked a pork shoulder overnight also. I cooked it from frozen and it worked out really well. It's tender, juicy and delicious!

I'll cut some fresh broccoli from the garden and steam it right before we leave. Probably toss some italian blend cheese on top and let that get all melty. There'll be other sides- scalloped potatoes, baked beans and rolls. Various desserts such as a frozen chocolate pie and cookies that I just pulled out of the oven. Didn't pull the frozen pie out of the oven, lol. Pulled it out of the freezer at our local Kroger.

Should be plenty for everyone and leftovers too.
