We had Cajun Linguine last night. Recipe calls for grilled sausage and chicken to be cut up and added to the sauce along with defrosted cooked shrimp.

I love using my grill year round. Especially for bacon. Then there’s no grease mess in the house to clean up.
Nice, but you are in sandals in the snow!!! Talk about being acclimated to the weather. wow

we've switched to buying the precooked bacon crumbles in a bag, so there is no cook time other than to crisp it up in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and there is no large amounts of bacon grease to deal with. we don't use it in cooking anyways (Mom really doesn't like smoked anything other than bacon and braunschweiger and i think with the braunschweiger she doesn't know it's smoked).

as for being outside with bare feet in snow i do at times shovel in my crocs without socks. the socks get wet and hold the snow and moisture where my feet might get a little wet but they feel warmer. today, however i got out with the winter boots because it was windy enough and powder snow that wearing crocs would not have worked well.
