I bought my WM brand for $1.79/dz small mouth when covid first got started here. 15c/ea.

My Mom and I went to Walmart today. The canning section was empty.

Grabbed two 4 packs of vacuum seal bags yesterday. Only lids were with the jar sets. Don't need more jars right now.

Went to the area flea market with my son. Got a mess of local peppers and okra to freeze tomorrow. The nearby store with the canning supplies was packed, did not feel like braving that mess

although they are out of stock right now, Lehman's still has lids listed at $79 per tube of 345 lids (regular- I believe the wide mouth you get a little less). Comes out to about 23 cents each

Lehman's is about an hour or so from here. Just sayin'

I've been to the Lehman's store once when we lived in Virginia and drove up to Ohio to visit hubby's uncle back in the early 2000s. I still have and use the giant metal mixing bowls and 2 gallon bail mason jar.

https://www.freshpreserving.com/ is the actual Ball/Kerr site. They don't have an online store.

I'd be really cautious about giving personal info to that site you linked to. It's brand new and the product logos aren't correct in looks. Screams fishing site to me.

I thought the website looked suspicious, and I know there are a lot of scammer websites supposedly selling essentials.

I used to use another site for checking websites but forgot the name.

This is the canning section at our nearest Walmart. They had one package of half gallon jars and that was it. No lids, rings, salt, etc.
