Today I subbed for the woman who got the instrucational assistant job I applied for at the beginning of the year. A real suck it up and hold your head high kind of day.

A few years back my wife applied for a job like that at the local school district. She didn't get the job either. She had more education (2 years college) and experience doing that type of work. The person that got job completed high school (I want to say GED but I might be mistaken) and no experience. The difference, my wife is caucasian and the other applicant is Native American.
