 Just watched the Red & Green show about the Red-neck 4 wheel drive. Funny how it works like a marriage. That was a good one. :)

no way...common practice to scrape uneaten leftovers off plates into soup. good gracious that is just disgusting. I don't do that at home!
You put the leftovers in hot water and boil it. What could possibly make you sick??? Not sure I would want restaurant leftovers from OTHER PEOPLE, but at home, with family....sure!
No can't go there. I know it might work but I can not scrape food off a plate that was used and boil...LOL...that is definitely just me.

You know, one reason I serve Nicole now. I used to put more on her plate than she could ever eat, same with Tony. Now I put a normal amt. of food, ya can always go back for another spoonful, therefore not messing up the original dish of veggies or whatever....then they are reusable leftovers to me. I cut portions back on the plates cause I was sick of wasting food --but it went to the dogs mostly so it was never "not used"

Thanks Karen, I'll keep that in mind. No eating shrimp and meatballs off the floor!!! :thumbsup

I like that toilet waster idea. If it's good enough for the dog to drink I should be able to mop with it!!!!

I think it depends also on how clean your floor is and how clean your shoes (if you are wearing them) are. Ever since I overheard someone talking about getting really bad food poisoning from some meat she ate that fell on the floor, I will not eat anything off the floor . . . oh, ok, you caught me, I will eat chocolate that falls on the floor. :p It is too precious to waste.

you are going to get a talkin' too big time...

I remember that Seinfeld episode.....George at an eclair out of the trash.

But he said it was only sitting on top of the trash so it was safe. :ep

OK fess up, anyone eat anything out of the trash?

I will start---NO WAY

To me there is a force field of germs around a trash can...invisible but I know it is there..:old I swear it is there!!

Wait--we all work on animals, poop, hay, feed areas, chicken poop, hog poop, pastures, etc. etc.
Hmm...our floors are suspect every single moment of the day..HAHA

 FarmerChick -- you so funny!

Do you think anyone is going to fess up to dumpster diving NOW? Well, I will say the only thing I have ever taken out of the trash for food was some frozen peas my mom threw away at Thanksgiving. They were in her trash can for about 30 seconds, before I told her they would make great chicken feed. So I fed them to the chickens the NEXT DAY! The chickens are surprisingly still alive. LOL

Oh, and yes, I see duck poop when I look at my floors. Not visible, mind you, but I know it is there.
