Just watched the Red & Green show about the Red-neck 4 wheel drive. Funny how it works like a marriage. That was a good one.
No can't go there. I know it might work but I can not scrape food off a plate that was used and boil...LOL...that is definitely just me.Wifezilla said:You put the leftovers in hot water and boil it. What could possibly make you sick??? Not sure I would want restaurant leftovers from OTHER PEOPLE, but at home, with family....sure!no way...common practice to scrape uneaten leftovers off plates into soup. good gracious that is just disgusting. I don't do that at home!
LOL FC, those two words together just made me guffaw!FarmerChick said:Gina on the 5 minute rule....a Dr. performed that test.
Anything not wet or sticky, hardly any bacteria got on the M&M or Skittle or such......but if you dropped a shrimp or meatball or something like that---OMG the amt. of bacteria that clug to it was ICK
dry on floor--OK
wet item on floor--to the dogs!
Wait--we all work on animals, poop, hay, feed areas, chicken poop, hog poop, pastures, etc. etc.DrakeMaiden said:I think it depends also on how clean your floor is and how clean your shoes (if you are wearing them) are. Ever since I overheard someone talking about getting really bad food poisoning from some meat she ate that fell on the floor, I will not eat anything off the floor . . . oh, ok, you caught me, I will eat chocolate that falls on the floor. It is too precious to waste.
