It all came to a head tonight.....
I have photos of a beautiful double rainbow from tonight. The hues of the primary rainbow were the most vivid that I ever remember. Of course, technology snafu's are currently preventing me from uploading the pix here (I will continue to try, though).
I've been reading a number of threads here lately, and wow, I feel really "down". I realize that there is a lot of frustration, fear, and anger out there with the current state of affairs. I just don't know what to say.
For my religious friends, here you go. For the non-religious folks here, please just humor me with my posting this.
Peace, everyone.
The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
