Here are a couple of pictures from around our place. There are some really pretty day lilies planted around.

I'd kind of forgotten how pretty daylilies can be; now you've got me wanting to plant some again.

Very pretty. I've stayed away from lilies since the pollen bothers me. But I've often wondered if it's only certain types of lilies. If they have lilies in church for Easter, they always let me know ahead of time so I can take some allergy meds.

I don't think daylilies are in the same family as true lilies; perhaps they wouldn't bother you?

Would be nice if they're not. I've never done any research into it, I've just avoided them.

Well, I forgot to update this thread so I figure I will now, better late than never.
Roosters still have not been butchered. Tomorrow is the day! (I have been saying that for a month now, I guess we will see)
The chickens are giving us 10 to 11 eggs per day. We had 50 eggs in the basket on Saturday when friends stopped by to get some and left with 2 dozen. lol, it didn't take too much talking to get them to take the 2nd dozen once they saw what we had. They had Breakfast Club at their cottage this morning, (family came over for breakfast) so we know they were appreciated. We got an even dozen today to replenish the egg basket. We are sure enjoying all the fresh eggs though.

I'm not getting many eggs right now. I need to thin my flock.
