Drained yogurt would work great. I was originally just going to use cream, but it seamed to need a little zip when I was tasting it so I used cream cheese instead. Sour cream would have also worked.
I am at the library and don't have my usb disc with recipes on it with me now. I will post this later. Hopefully we will have internet at home soon, because I am not able to keep up with ss at the library. (Very frustrating too! thanks so much for mentioning that you can make 'yellow cake mix' - i've been dying to make this but have been avoiding the mix too. i wasnt sure if making a yellow cake from scratch would work or not.
