Your Help Needed - Evalutating NEW Forum Software

We do need to update our terms, which will be done once we convert to the new software. Basically, you retain copyright over the content: text and images posted. An update:

We've successfully converted www.BackYardHerds.com to the new platform, and so far it's been received VERY well! You can check out some of the discussions and feedback here: http://www.backyardherds.com/forums/backyardherds-news-information-feedback.21/


We'll probably be moving to convert SS to this exciting new platform very soon. There isn't really much you need to do to prepare since we'll be doing all the work on our side. The only thing you'll probably want to do is make sure you have your username and password available since you'll need to login to the new system once we move.

How could I get that info? I have stayed logged in here for at least 2 1/2 years now as ~gd for my user name but the password is long forgotten. So many places insist you change your password monthly or quarterly that I have a page and a half of passwords but this site is not there. Changes in soft ware are a pet peeve of mine. they seem to change to help the sales of mobile and 'apps' I carry a cell phone, a $8 burner phone to call for cops or AAA. I never learned to type using only my thumbs. ~gd

You can logout and request a new password be sent to you or you can PM me with a password you want to use moving forward.

Also, the new system will have an easy password reset too, so you can simply wait until conversion if you'd like.

Hey Friends!

Sorry this got put on hold, I ended up having to get my tonsils cut out and have been working on recovering. It hasn't been fun, but things are getting better.

Anywho, we're still on course to convert to the new system and we'll keep you posted as things progress!
