No spray bartlet pear harvest, farmbabe and I picked. I'm going to remove stems and trim out bad spots on the ripe ones. Then them stick in her big roasting pan to roast up some pear sauce.

I really like breadI dont bake bread a lot, due to DH will eat a lot of it, so its best I dont.
but, for not have baked bread in a while, I am very pleased how this turned out, its not prefect but the butter wont mind,,

Roasting pan, no stick this way. I'm almost certain I could do the same thing in my 20 gallon stainless kettle with flame under I see no real difference. But would have to try it in the kettle to be positive.So, You are doing them in the slow cooker rather than an oven? That looks like the best way to do them. I make peach butter in the slow cooker but have never put them in with skins and all... wonder how that would work.
