Yes, my eyes are still great! My hearing is starting to go... :lau I really liked starting off with a small local mushroom book. The really fat, filled with everything guides can be overwhelming. I also found a local mushrooming lecture/how to class incredably helpful.

Ew for your daughter! And hugs to you both! :hugs I went through stuff like that with son #3 for years. When he needed to do the full meds, steroids etc. I always had to force him, since he hated them! Getting rid of all carpet, switching to dust mite protectors on all bedding (and the...

I love your new shelves... But that old pantry with the tiny openings would drive me nuts... I would rip the front face off. But then I also have zero closet doors. I hate storage behind doors. Doors eat up so much space.

My bantam coop has chicken wire over the concrete wire... My standard coop has 2x4 wire over SOME of the concrete wire... but not all of it. Here is that concrete wire, without a second layer, with snow on it.

I would just wedge a stout pole or t-post on the inside up against the leaning post. For my run tops I used concrete reinforcing wire as the base. Then I put 2x4 wire on top of the concrete reinforcing wire. For the bantam coop I also used a layer of chicken wire.

And here I am, way further north than the rest of you all, and though we keep snowing, it has, so far, only been a bit at a time. So all good! And not just good, but excellent since we hired out our bobcat that we use for snow removal. The bobcat is coming back in January. We usually...

I love Sudafed. It totally dries up mucus. You should drink lots when you take it... or whenever sick... Mucinex never seams to do much for me.. Nyquil and Dayquil can be good... But often just Sudafed and Tylenol are stronger and do a better job.

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Yep. I am not a morning riser... so for us school started at 9. If they had breakfast or not, that was their choice. BUT, all animal chores had to be done before the kid had food and water, and chores had to be done before school started. I hated nagging or reminding... so when they were...

I would pick this option first, but pay for his bull to get vet checked for disease before you move the girls over. Second choice, AI No idea how you would keep a bull happy and contained with only 3 cows. I would avoid that choice.
