I finished painting the inside of my friend’s house. She has had so much fun, proud of our accomplishments and their new to them house looks so nice.
Now back to work on the farm. Let this be a lesson to me-never take 2 weeks off.
No, not the regular feed that I’ve bought for over 25 years. I’ve used the pelleted feed for horses, sheep, feeder pigs, even laying hens. It’s 14% and it’s been great. BUT the super bag is 16% has rolled corn, some pellets, cottonseed hulls and some kind of meal. Haven’t used it by itself yet...
Bone headed men give us ladies almosta heart attacks!
I finally broke down and bought a super bag of feed. I had to scoop it all out into buckets and dump in metal trash cans, but well worth it. Saved me $100. It figured out to 16 cents per pound versus the bagged feed at $12.75 per 50 # or 25...
On second cup of coffee. Then I’ll tackle this stack of bills and get them paid. Darn credit cards! They never forget to send the bills!
Painted yesterday and back at it today. On the downswing!
Ouch on the head bump! I know that hurt!
I’m glad you got to enjoy the grands, just not long enough.

It’s so true! We really do measure distance by how many hours it takes to drive there. Anything at 3 hours or less is considered a short trip. Don’t ask how many miles, I don’t know. 😃
Saturday! No painting today. Have painted all week, back at it on Monday. Today is feed store and laundry. Thinking about buying bulk feed in one of those super bags. I’ll have to scoop with a bucket and transfer to metal trash cans to keep rats out. That means a lot of extra work. It’s so easy...
Finishing coffee. Then I’ll get dressed, see if 2 fatties had their lambs last night or if I need to pick up pieces of exploded ewes. It’s a full moon, there should be lambs!
Then off for day 4 of painting Peggy and Bennett’s new to them house.
