Yesterday I kayaked 15 miles. The way out wasn't too bad, the wind was at our backs, but the way back... It was hard work!! A lot of fun though!!! That's the most my arms have moved, ever! I felt very accomplished when I finally got back to the dock!
I did know about the hydrogenated and it took a while to find one that did not say it. The first thing I did when I got home with it was make pie crust and biscuits!!!! But a new bucket is in order for me now.
Ok, so I got my first tub of lard a couple of months ago. Since it was on a shelf in the store I have kept it in a cabinet at room temperature. I got to thinking, should I have kept it in the fridge? Is it still good to use since it has been out for a while now? Help!!!
I've eaten crickets. They had the wings and legs removed and were roasted. Tasted like peanuts with a strange texture. I've also had them in toffee, they added extra crunch.

So I guess being able to exersice at home is self sufficient (even though I can't spell it). The dogs have made paths in the back yard that are perfect for a jogging path. So yesterday I mowed a person sized path and chopped down branches that were hanging down and viola - my own jogging...
