i keep hearing that i need to leave one-year canes to get fruit the next season, but i'm pretty sure that one year candy canes are about the same as those that i steal right off the cristmas trees at the mall so i'm confused... they do get a little gooey i guess. the more canes perhaps i'll get good and plenty in return?
either way i should be all set, but while i'm at it perhaps you could clear something else up for me as i keep hearing about salt-water taffy, but they always have been selling it at the beach places by the big lakes here that are all fresh water - so i think they're pulling my leg on that one or twisting the truth, fudging a bit or perhaps telling whoppers? what do you think?
in case the bees get tired out i have bits o honey in reserve or i also have some sugar for the babies.
