A Valentine for your Sweetie?

We got goat babies. Some were supposed to be due on the 14th so we are celebrating early. We really don't do gifts.

I don't get mine anything, hehe. We go out to dinner, and he surprises me with some practical and cute. Like last year I got this silver bracelet that says "love faith dream" etc... On it, hasn't left my wrist since then. This year he let it slip that he got something by a fav local artist

nada. I'll probably make a nice dinner, but that's about it. It's going to be warm-ish down here, so I think I'll grill steaks. Yummmmm!

I bought a card... nothing to write in it yet. I think I'm getting my gift early - a whole day ALONE to relax, paint my toenails, file my fingernails, hot bath, long walk with my doggie.

We have Cub Scouts Monday night so no big romantic plans then. My parents are going to have DS over for dinner tomorrow night and we will go out to dinner. We'll exchange cards. I'm knitting him socks. He'll get them someday.... but not Monday. I have no idea what he and DS will get me if anything.

My Valentines gift to my dh is steak and cake! We rarely eat steak so it is special.

My dh would think I don't love him if I didn't make a from scratch cake.

I am getting a food processor!

I go out to dinner once a month w/some girl friends. The one called me up, wanting to figure out a date, and wanted to know if Mondays were OK. I told her any Monday was fine, except for this one. She wanted to know why. I reminded her that it was 2/14. She said, Oh, OK. Is that your birthday? I had to remind her that it was Valentine's Day!

Uggg Valentine's Day. I just want chocolate. That's what I told DH so hopefully he doesn't surprise me with anything else....although some flowers would be nice but doubt he would do that....flowers are nice anyday . I got him a card and will probably do something special for him...might be dinner but probably some dessert
