I bought a card... nothing to write in it yet. I think I'm getting my gift early - a whole day ALONE to relax, paint my toenails, file my fingernails, hot bath, long walk with my doggie.

We've never done much even when we dated. If you go out to eat, everyone else is out on that day too. Flowers and candy are so expected. Just another day at our house I guess.

I was at a real loss as to what I could get my husband. Then I passed by a custom T-shirt shop... I saw this great T-shirt idea.

I modified it a bit... It is a beard length chart.

I used the Hebrew names for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jacob's 12 sons, Moses, Jeremiah the Prophet, and my husband.

I will be using this company in the future. It is called "Big Frog"

The price is great! $14.99 for a custom shirt.

Just another day here, too, we don't do gifts unless there's money in the bank. DH got laid off last week, so NO money in the bank, dangit.
But..... I do have a few steaks in the freezer, so he'll have that. For me? Nothing, because to me EVERY day is Valentine's Day with him around!

He doesn't know it yet, but I'm making a batch of chocolate chip cookies too. I'm allergic to peanut, so most candy is risky for me. Homemade fresh hot cookies = me not feeling deprived.
