Ed asked "Are you taking Max with you?". I replied "Are you HIGH?!?!"

I take Max with me everywhere. Every once in a while I need a break from my giant flapping shadow! Sheesh!

So I'm going to try an experiment.

I'm remembering my vitamins for a whole week now, btw. Go kitty food.

So I'm thinking of doing an herbal tea to lower my stress level. I need to break the physical stress cycle. I have too much cortisol and I get a poofy tummy. Yech.

So I'm going to try a hops-passion flower-valerian root tea twice a day and see what happens. Just drink it instead of coffee (which cutting coffee wouldn't hurt ANYWAY). Hops and passion flower are gentle enough for a nightly child's drink. Just keep the valerian low so I don't upset my kidneys and should be good.

See, logically, I don't get stressed.

Emotionally, I get mildly stressed, but the logic calms it.

Physically, it's hopeless. I breathe and meditate. I exercise, watch my diet, take hot soaks.... And I cannot keep the adrenaline and cortisol low! Drives me nuts. I'm just always over stimmed. It's my brain lacking filters and being screwy on circuitry. It's the seizures making the overstim sharper.

So I'll go for a new approach and see if I can herbally drug it up a bit. :D

Might throw in oat straw too. I find oats very calming.

True enough Boyd! LOL!

So Auntie and I were very boring. We went to good will, hung out and watched youtube videos, ate ice cream with fresh strawberry sauce, and had pumpkin curry soup.

I got ghe yesterday (go home early), and took a 3 hour nap. Even so I was passed out by 9 and would really love another nap today LOL. Seizures are exhausting. But Pudding has her follow up at the vet today. I haven't had the heart to tell her yet LOL.

if you quit the coffee and start the tea the same week, how will you know which helped? i'd make one change one week and another the next if you want to see the difference the tea makes. Drinking coffee has a big effect on you, take it from someone sensitive to caffeine.

Good point. Coffee calms me. But not necessarily good for me lol. I can switch to herbal non med tea for a week first.

I drop coffee every few months for a few weeks and it has never made a difference but it will interact with valerian... oddly.

I will post it after work, auntie. :drool
